What to remember

Minimum age of participants: 2 years
Bring warm, wind and water proof clothing
The walk to the ice at Sólheimajökull glacier takes around 20 min (one way) and is on uneven terrain. As such, good sturdy shoes are recommended
There is no food included on this tour but there will be stops where you are able to purchase food
You will have the possibility to choose your pick up location during the booking process; if you haven't organized your accommodation yet, you can send the details directly to the supplier at a later stage using the contact details provided on your voucher

Needed more time at each stop, because as the day went on the stops got shore and shorter and it was practically a race to walk to the glacier and back to the coach in the time allocated. The was no time to take in the spectacular views

The only problem was having to wait for other coaches to arrive and the fact that the time was put back which meant we were then rushing at the end to get back, grab something to eat and then go chasing the northern lights but I suppose these things happen sometimes
