What to expect

If one island isn't enough for you, then this trip to Gozo is just for you. Malta's sister island is little gem and you'll feel like you've stepped back in time almost from the moment you dock. The itinerary takes in the Ta' Pinu Basilica, Dwejra Bay and Victoria and its Citadel.

From the pretty port of Mgarr, your first stop is the basilica of Ta' Pinu, located in open countryside, to admire its impressive neo-Romanesque interior. Next, we'll head to the Inland Sea lagoon and the Fungus Rock of Dwejra Bay – two must-see natural phenomena. There'll be time, too, to shop for local handicrafts.

You'll then head to the capital, Victoria, to wander around the narrow, winding streets of the walled Citadel, a historic fortified city. We'll then enjoy a break for lunch before returning to Mgarr Port via Qala Belvedere, a viewpoint famed for its coastal views.
