TransportDer Markt hat aufgrund von starkem Wind kaum stattgefunden. Es wurde keine Ersatzleistung angeboten. Man musste fast 90 min überbrücken. Die Katamaran-Fahrt ist ebenfalls ausgefallen, Busfahrt ist kein adäquater Ersatz. Gerade für unsere Kinder war das schon enttäuschend. Highlight bleibt der Aussichtspunkt, den die Kinder aufgrund des starken Windes nicht ausreichend nutzen konnten.
Extending from the very north of Majorca out into the Med, Cape Formentor is a jagged finger of land – and one of the most scenic parts of the island. On this tour, you'll visit a village market and enjoy time on Formentor beach. Plus, there's a stop Es Colomer viewpoint and a boat trip along the Formentor coast. Kick off the day with a wander around a weekly market – it's a taste of rural Majorcan life. Lluc says, ‘The vendors selling just a few different types of seasonal fruit or vegetables are usually farmers who grow their own produce – and usually the best value.' Next, we'll set off to explore the Formentor peninsula. As we drive around its winding roads, you'll be treated to dramatic scenery. We'll stop at Es Colomer, where there are unrivalled views of the coastal cliffs.
Then it's time to chill out on Formentor beach. This narrow, curved strand is fringed by a pine forest and is washed by pastel-blue waters. Refreshments are available at a beach café, and you can secure your table by choosing the ‘lunch included' option. To round off, we'll go by boat to Port de Pollença, where the seafront is lined with stylish villas and hotels from its early 20th-century golden age.
