During this excursion through the north of Lanzarote, you'll explore the true gems around the old capital, Villa de Teguise. You'll have the chance to visit Lagomar, the Valley of a Thousand Palms, the Mirador del Río and more.
You'll depart for the town of Teguise, the old capital of the island, where you'll make a stop to admire its church, its cobbled streets, and feel the sensation of moving to an old traditional village. Next, you'll cross the town of Los Valles and head towards the town of Haría, where you'll get wonderful views of a beautiful palm grove, known as “The Valley of a Thousand Palms”.
Continuing through the towns of Máguez and Ye, you'll arrive at the Mirador del Río steep in the Risco de Famara, where you'll watch incredible views of the island of Graciosa and the “river” that separates it from Lanzarote. You'll also be able to admire the rest of the Chinijo Archipelago from a spectacular perspective.
On your way back towards the different collection points, you'll travel through the towns of Mala and Guatiza, and watch the prickly pear plantations that house the cochineal, which is used as a natural dye.
