ARTIS-Micropia
Visit the world's only microbe museum in the heart of Amsterdam. At ARTIS-Micropia a hidden world becomes visible. A world full of life, so small you cannot see it with the naked eye. Yet without microbes there would be no life on Earth. They are everywhere, in the air, on your skin and in your gut. They make food taste good, keep you healthy and maintain balance in nature. At Micropia this invisible world comes to life through living microbes, microscopes, interactive displays and stories from the lab technicians.
