Artis zoo, located in the center of Amsterdam, is the oldest zoo in the Netherlands and one of the oldest zoos of Europe. Wander around in the shade of the trees, admire the diversity of plants and animals, visit the aquarium and explore the stars in the planetarium. “This is one of the greatest zoos I have ever seen. I honestly couldn't believe I spent the whole day here. The range of animals living here is great compared to many other zoos. I loved seeing the elephants. The many different children areas were a bonus feature. You must try the pizza, so tasty.”
