A guided visit to a souk (local market) is a good way to see the local way of life and this tour offers exactly that.

Souk is a traditional market where locals and tourists gather to buy and sell a wide variety of goods and products. The atmosphere is lively, with haggling being a common practice. At the souks you'll also find traditional crafts and artisanal items.

    The Argan Oil experience was brilliant, very informative, patient and welcoming ladies who applied no pressure to buy anything. The souk guide first took us to what appeared to be his friends shop and then abandoned us (two young ladies) when we didn’t want to buy anything. We didn’t mind exploring alone but perhaps don’t book this if you would like a helpful guide who will take care of you.

    Collected outside our hotel promptly visited a beautiful natural oils, creams etc place and bought some treatment for psoriasis which seems to be helping! Then met akhmed our wonderful guide who took us through the souk, he was hilarious and kind. Knew his stuff about the history, it’s a must see/do

After passing argan trees — sometimes with goats balanced up in their branches — you'll be welcomed into a local home for sweet mint tea, poured slowly just as Moroccan tradition require. From here, you'll go for a walk through Tiout's oasis, which brings you into village life and surrounds you with swaying palm trees.Lunch is served at a traditional Kasbah in Tiout, a simple setting where you'll tuck in to chicken tajine, vegetable and meat couscous and a seasonal fruit plate to finish. Next, your journey continues to the walled town of Taroudant.
