What to expect

You can expect dollops of déjà vu and nostalgia on this full day cruise. It takes in the sights made famous by the hit musical Mamma Mia! You'll set sail aboard a traditional fishing boat, visiting some of the best beaches in Skopelos. This tiny Aegean island was where Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgård et al sang their way into our hearts.

It all kicks off when we sail from Skiathos port on a northeasterly course for neighbouring Skopelos. First, we'll head for the beach of Kastani, where Mamma Mia! was filmed in 2007. Then, it's just a few minutes' sailing to the neighbouring beach of Panormos, in time for lunch at one of the beach tavernas. Or, if you prefer, you can sunbathe and swim.

The last stop is the beautiful beach of Milia for a final dip in the sea before getting back on board for the leisurely cruise back to Skiathos.

    Was dumped at a couple of beaches nothing there could have been anywhere, then took to a tiny beach where you could swim for 10 minutes all in all not worth the money .

    Wonderful trip for Mama Mia fans/if you want to see bit of Skopelos. Didn’t have option of selecting pick up from hotel but found pick up point as clearly stated. Staff friendly and gave us the information needed. Booked coach to see church at €15pp, it was about 1/2 hour journey so saw a bit of Skopelos on way. Because of this though we didn’t spend any time at first beach so take pics when you get off boat. Some other trips do go to Skopelos town so might be worth sussing out. Well recommended

    The pick up and transportation was well organised, the seats on the boat were just metal round the edges and very uncomfortable. They did have chairs and tables in the middle. The music played was obviously all ABBA. You visit 3 beaches and if you want to see the chapel it is 45 minutes in the minibus. It is really just a trip to 3 beaches which were used in the film. Nothing special but as I like boat trips and going to different beaches it was nice day out

    The trip was really good, and staff were great. Maybe too many people on the trip, as crammed in and not sure about having to pay extra on the day for visit to church. However, overall we really enjoyed our day.

    The trip itself was ok visited 3 beaches which was fine however, it should have been highlighted in the itinerary the length of time you are spending at each beach example on the boat for 30mins and 1st stop was for at least 2hrs then 10mins to next stop to spend 3.5hrs on the beach then 20mins on the boat to spend another hour at the beach in essence we were on a ‘boat trip’ for 7hrs and we spent 6hrs on a beach of some kind. This should be highlighted as a ‘beach trip’ not a boat trip
