Why you’ll love this…
  • Create unforgettable memories with your family
  • Visit the beach where Mamma Mia was filmed
  • Enjoy the most beautiful beaches of Skopelos
What to expect

This is an ideal trip for all the family to visit places only accessible by boat, far away from the crowds, on the beautiful south part of Skopelos island.

Set sail aboard your boat Kalypso from Skiathos port, cruising to the neighboring island of Skopelos. During the sail, you will have the chance to see and take pictures of this very green side of the island.

Kastani is the beautiful sandy beach on the island's west side, where “Mamma Mia” was filmed in 2007, and it's your first stop of the day. A fantastic chance for you to swim, sunbathe and take photos on the beach.

From Kastani it's just a 25-minute hop to the beautiful port of Panormos, in time for lunch at one of the beach tavernas. Of course, there is going to be plenty of time available for you to relax under the sun, or have your drinks during the 2-hour stay.

Finally, Kalypso sets sail for the last destination of the day, one of the most beautiful beaches in Skopelos, called Milia, just the ideal place to conclude the day. Once back on board, you will enjoy the leisurely cruise back to Skiathos port.

Had no communication about pick up from beach when on first group going up to mama Mia chapel where. We were dropped at beach by bus driver and not told where we were or what time or where we would be picked up from. Boat lacked atmosphere compared to Elizabet cruise to Skopelos which we did in may

Very long, longer than advertised. Fourth beach was gratuitous and for the sake of a gratuity - crappy pebble beach with offer of happy hour on the boat. ‘Tour guide’ did very little all day. Lalaria is beautiful and a good choice. More time needed at Kastro.

Shame it took one cancellation, one no collection and numerous Web chats and emails to get there 3rd time lucky. Musement customer service great. Local pick up must have serious comms issues with musement. Was very stressful having to sort the rearrangements.

Skiathos town evening tour with local liqueur tasting

Are you ready to fall in love with the charm and character of Skiathos Town on this laid-back town walk? We'll kick things off by wandering along Papadiamantis Street – the heart of the town, packed with shops, cafés and everyday local life. From there, we'll stroll up to the Church of the Three Hierarches, a striking slice of island history. Vasilis, one of our expert guides, says, ‘Only a few steps from the centre of town are hidden corners, with beautiful churches and peaceful cobbled streets. Skiathos played a hugely symbolic role in Greece's fight for independence – our first flag was raised here in 1807.'Next, we'll swing by the Skiathitiko Spiti – an old home-turned-museum where you'll get a feel for how islanders lived back in the day. After a nose around, we'll sip a little local liqueur made by the owner – trust us, it's a treat. Then it's on to the maze-like Plakes quarter, with its narrow lanes and timeworn houses, bright splashes of bougainvillea and classic blue shutters. Limnia is next, where you'll have the chance to pop into either Panagia Limnia or the Holy Trinity Church – both full of stories and island spirit. We'll follow a coastal path down to the Old Port, soaking up the sea views before heading back towards the start. But not before one final stop – the House of Alexandros Papadiamantis, one of Greece's literary legends. Just next door is Café Nostalgos – said to be his old haunt – where we'll wrap up the tour with a drink and some dreamy views.
