A total misrepresentation. We were told by Aladin that we would visit a working pottery. It was a little shop with no explanation. We were told that we would visit a vineyard. We turned up at a bar/restaurant with 3 bottles of wine on the side and some nibbles. No vineyard visit, no explanation of anything, just get on with it! We were told that it would take 40 minutes from Marhaba Beach to the Nozha Beach. We left early at 06.57. It took 1hr 20 minutes. Then we were early and had to wait.
Combining local markets and wine tasting, this full-day tour is a celebration of all the flavours of Tunisia.
You'll start off by haggling and wandering around one of North Africa's largest street markets, Nabeul, before heading into the wine-growing region for a tasting and lunch at Château Bacchus.
Arriving at Nabeul's Friday market, you'll immerse yourself in eye-catching stalls. From local pottery and embroidery to arabesque-style carpets, perfumes and spices, there's something for everyone. Watch locals go about their daily shop, and go off in search of your own souvenirs to take home.
After some free time in the market maze, you'll travel into the wine-growing region, to Château Bacchus, set among scented orange, lemon and olive groves. A freshly-prepared lunch will be served alongside a selection of wines for you to sip.
