Taste of Tunisia tour

A total misrepresentation. We were told by Aladin that we would visit a working pottery. It was a little shop with no explanation. We were told that we would visit a vineyard. We turned up at a bar/restaurant with 3 bottles of wine on the side and some nibbles. No vineyard visit, no explanation of anything, just get on with it! We were told that it would take 40 minutes from Marhaba Beach to the Nozha Beach.We left early at 06.57. It took 1hr 20 minutes. Then we were early and had to wait.

The trip was offered as suitable for persons with limited access. My friend used a walker. She couldn't get off the coach without two other persons as it was a huge step down. The vineyard, of three ladies toilets, two were locked as they were overflowing. When you are disabled and need toilets urgently it's a nightmare. Although the Chateau cannot really be blamed the food was crawling with flies and therefore we couldn't eat it. Plus what tiny bit I did eat was bland and tasteless.

We enjoyed the ceramics centre and the market very much, not to keen on the lunch though, there was no choice and flies were all over the food

Bezoek Nabeul was goed. Bezoek aan wijnproeverij was niet naar wens. Weining kunnen proeven. Te weinig flessen op tafel. Wij waren iets later en de flessen waren snel leeg. Er waren zelfs mensen bij die de flessen pakten en hun glazen geheel vulden. Zou adviseren geen zelfbediening meer te doen, laat de eigenaren de glazen vullen.

Markt op Nabeul was toch niet zo groot als we verwacht hadden.Ook nog keramiek zaak bezocht met winkel aan Zeer commercieel wel. Wijnproeverij op chateau bacchus was zeer goed . Je mocht vrij proeven van verschillende wijnen met snacks erbij. Maaltijd ook zeer tunesisch getint. Afin geslaagde dag voor ons.

The meal wine tasting was excellent. You are not advised before hand that you are on a bus for 2 hours to get to destination and back we did not have a tour guide for the first hour and but so literally just sat on bus with no information. Then they missed a few people on route so had to go back which was even more time on bus. The pottery place was lovely but only had 25 mins there the market was very busy but felt safe.
