The transport arrived on time which was a great start. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, El Jen was amazing as was the museum. The trip exceeded my expectations. We left at 0700 and I was back at my hotel for 1220. A perfect half day trip which I would recommend.
With this tour, you'll visit the Roman city of EL Jem, where you meet the civilization with the splendid amphitheater of the 3 Ad. It is a step back in time when you imagine yourself dressed up in a toga when you will visit the most preserved amphitheater and the glory of Rome. All its different parts are reachable, such as the arena and the dungeons.
The site is famous for its Colosseum, the third largest one in the world. The underground complex is being brought to light thanks to excavation work. The arena where the different activities used to take place moreover, the Cavea is still used for the international festival of El Jem. You'll also have free to continue your exploration of the monument and take pictures;
The second part of the tour will be the archeological museum where different departments cover gorgeous slobs of mosaics. The garden is also attractive to enjoy the African house with its splendid room and pavements.
