Mdina Highlights Tour

Our rep booked this for us. He spent a lot of time talking about the full day tour and what it involved but then only booked us and others on the half day without telling us (I think the full day was fully booked but he already told us all about it). The best bits of the tour we didn't get to do. It was also too many people for one tour guide, we were struggling to stay with her and couldn't hear anything she was saying

The guide Valentina was superb, excellent information and very interesting and very patient with some who weren’t as punctual as necessary. Our driver Ian was brilliant. However, had we known how much walking, without a stop for refreshment or short sit down, we may not have chosen this. Ideally lunch should have been taken earlier thus breaking up what was quite arduous walking for some. In high summer older guests would have found it exhausting. Give this consideration.

Mdina and Mosta were very good. The day was too long. The dingle cliffs were unnecessary. The catacombs were basically go down a flight of steps to stand in a basement and hear some history not what was expected at all. The garden s were nice but no forewarning of the state of the paths. This trip needs a rethink. The lunch was very good.

Maria was an excellent guide gave us so much info about Malta clearly spoken and very organised so enjoyed our tour with her

Enjoyed whole day Lots to see very knowledgeable guide. Lovely pace to the day

I enjoyed the craft Market and would of preferred more time there, also enjoyed Rabat and madina again more time to explore. The gardens were a bit of a let down, nothing much in bloom. The cliffs were very boring.
