TransportGuide didn’t always appear to know what they were doing, which didn’t inspire confidence. Knowledge of area and places visited good. Lunch was a bad experience and wasted time. Disappointing that we went up to the Citadel but there was no time to have a proper tour of it although this was supposed to be in the itinerary. Also extra charge at the inland sea for the boat trip, this was not mentioned when booking.
Malta's sister island is just a short boat trip away. You'll set off by ferry and explore Gozo's natural beauty spots with this full day excursion. Visit Dwejra Bay and historic sites such as the Citadel and Ggantija Temples.
Arriving at Gozo in just 25 minutes, we'll disembark and head straight for the Ggantija Temples – a UNESCO World Heritage Site older than the pyramids of Egypt. You'll then visit the Citadel of Victoria, where 360° panoramic views show off the island's landscape. Next up is lunch.
In the afternoon, we'll visit the fjord-like bay of Xlendi as well as Dwejra Bay to see Fungus Rock and the nearby Inland Sea. You can't fail to be impressed by the island's lush countryside, its serene atmosphere and how different it is from the larger island of Malta.
