What to expect

A duo of City Sightseeing routes in Madeira are covered by this two-day city value package. You'll be able to hop on and hop off at your leisure and explore the attractions along Blue Essentials and Red Iconic lines. The Blue covers Monte, the Old Town and Funchal Market, among other sights, while the Red takes you up to Pico dos Barcelos and down to the picturesque fishing village of Camara de Lobos.     Wir sind zweimal mit der roten Linie gefahren eine tolle Tour durch und um Funchal. Haben einen Stop in Camara de Lobos gemacht und uns das dschöne Fischerdorf angesehen. Klein und schön mehr kann man nicht sagen. Die Leute auf den Strassen und in den Geschäften freundlich und hilfsbereit. TOP Mit der blauen Tour einmal bis zum Monte gefahren. Auch diese Tour ist interesant

Then, you'll head to the coastal town of Riberia Brava, before a stroll through a banana plantation in Madalena do Mar.Next, we'll head up the 1,500m-high Paúl da Serra plateau before descending on Porto Moniz, famous for its natural lava rock swimming pools. A typical lunch freshly prepared with local produce awaits in the village. Rounding off the day is a poncha drink demonstration and tasting in Câmara de Lobos – a favourite holiday spot of Winston Churchill.
