Full-day East and West Bank tour with lunch from Luxor

Enjoyed everything the guide wad fab.The wife can't walk fast but he never left us

The guide was knowledgeable but didn't seem to know what the itinerary was and even asked us where we were supposed to be going. It was evident that we were running ahead of schedule and in the end the driver dropped the guide off at a Mosque for prayers and he said that the driver would take us back to the hotel after lunch. In the event the driver just took us straight back to the hotel and totally aborted lunch. Upon reviewing our supposed schedule the guide missed out the Colossi of Memnon.

We were taken to a supposed handmade pottery outlet which was not on the itinerary. We were badgered constantly by the shop owner who followed us around the shop continually shoving items under our noses and telling us we could have a good deal. We kept on saying 'no' but he wouldn't leave us alone. He was trying to make us buy more and more expensive items. In the end we became very uneasy and purchased an item we didn't really want just to get out. Then there was an argument regarding the cost

We had a wonderful day. Looked after so well by Merrit our guide. The driver was also very courteous. One down side was the meal at the hotel. The staff treated us very poorly. They seemed to think we shouldn't have been there and they had no record of any agreement to provide a meal. We were given food begrudgingly, with no choice at all. We would have preferred to have good to the Iberotel where we were staying and had an all inclusive package.

Our TUI agent Mohammed Adel and our Egyptology guide Kamal were absolutely outstanding. We chose to go on several evening and day trips with them which were hassle free. We very much enjoyed Kamal’s expert commentaries and historical explanations and we were impressed by the comfortable and swift rides between the different attractions and historical destinations, the delicious lunches included and the overall efficiency and care taken by everyone to ensure that we had wonderful experiences.

Overall, it was a very good day out. Our tour guide Abram was extremely knowledgeable and provided great customer service. I'd highly recommend this tour, as it covers the majority of the main sights and I felt we had enough time at each stop.
