In one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, with thousands of dinner options, how do you give your evening a twist? Try having your two-course dinner served up with some of England’s most iconic riverside views. Jenny, one of our local guides, explains, “Cruising the Thames as evening falls brings the city into a whole new light. As you tuck into dinner, landmarks like Big Ben and Tower Bridge seem even more impressive when they’re illuminated and reflected on the water.”
Board the bespoke river cruise boat at Butler’s Wharf Pier and settle in for a sumptuous two-and-a-half-hour evening dinner cruise that’s just for adults. As London's famous landmarks show off their best sides, the band strikes up with live music, setting the soundtrack as the city sparkles beyond the windows. Rest assured, the food holds its own alongside the ambience. Your main course is inspired by English favourites, plus there’s a dessert that puts the cherry on top of a memorable night out in London.
Taking in the sights with an elegant dinner hits the right note whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, catching up with family and friends, or trying to impress on date night. And as Christmas celebrations get into full swing in December, the boat is decked out in beautiful decorations, with seasonal music and a festive menu on offer. The twinkling lights add an extra sparkle to London’s winter skyline, but the river rises to the occasion in every season. Warm spring and summer evenings can be spent out on deck, while golden autumnal sunsets are made for gazing at through the capital’s iconic bridges.
