Thames festive top-deck cruise with mulled wine

There’s something special about seeing London from the Thames, and it never looks better than in its full festive flow. From the top deck of the boat, you’ll take in London’s iconic sights in all their winter glory on this 90-minute cruise. The river has taken centre stage in London since Roman times, and as local guide James puts it, “No river would mean no London. The city was literally built around the Thames. I've walked these streets for years, but I never get tired of seeing London from the water, where every bridge, tower and skyline view tells a story.”

As the heart of the capital gears up for party season, you’ll see some of the city’s best-loved buildings in the glow of festive lights. From the striking silhouette of the Houses of Parliament and the twin pillars of Tower Bridge to the fairy lights strewn along the Christmas market stalls of the South Bank, this is your front-row seat to the city’s greatest hits. Take your place on the beautifully decorated open-air top deck, get cosy with a warming cup of mulled wine and soak up a view of the city that many visitors miss. As the famous landmarks drift by, you’ll listen to live onboard commentary that’s packed with stories, local insights and fascinating facts. James always aims to make sure even Londoners learn something new about their city.

This is sightseeing without the crowds, traffic or rushing from one attraction to the next. Instead, London reveals itself at an easy-going pace, with every stretch of the river bringing a fresh photo opportunity – complete with twinkling festive lights.
