What to expect

After pick-up, you'll head straight for the Monumento del Campesino, designed by legendary Lanzarote architect Cesar Manrique. Built in his trademark style that fused whitewashed structures with volcanic bubbles and exotic plants, it's a joy to explore. Then, it's off to the family-owned Bodega La Geria. Here, vines are shielded from the winds by horseshoe-shaped stone walls, while the humidity retained by the ash helps them grow in this harsh climate. Enjoy a guided tour of the winery and taste some of its prized Malvasia wines.

Next, nestled at the base of the Juan Bello volcano, you'll visit Bodega Los Bermejos. This boutique winery is famed for its artisanal approach, crafting exceptional wines from indigenous grape varieties like Malvasía Volcánica and Diego. Rounding off the tour is Bodega Suarez, a charming winery that offers visitors an authentic taste of the island's unique wine culture. We were miss sold a wine experience. We had no guide only a driver. He did not explain anything about the wine growing or the wine. Neither dis the staff in the bodegas. A bottle of wine was placed on the table at the first bodega similar at the other two. No comparing if wines. No tasting different grapes. And absolutely no information relating to wine growing in Lanzarote. A complete waste of a day and money. We would like a refund. This is NOT WHAT WE PAID FOR. VERY DISAPPOINTING

It was basically a taxi driver taking us to a vin yard to share 1 bottle of wine between 7 people no guided tour we could hav done that ourselves for a fraction of the cost and I no everyone in the tour was very disappointed. It cost €600 between us for 3 bottles of wine and a pathetic amount of cheese and crackers, only 6 lots provided when there was 7 of us! You really should give people refunds !!!!

We were hoping for an experience which included information on the local wine industry and the local traditions in terms of the growing and harvesting of the grapes - and then how the wine is processed, bottled etc. Plus info on local grapes, where the wine is sold etc. Instead, the trip simply consisted of drinking a glass of wine at three different bodegas, and nothing else. It was pleasant and fun, but could have been a lot more.

Timanfaya volcanic tour

This half-day tour is Lanzarote in a nutshell. You'll call in at El Golfo lagoon, journey through Timanfaya National Park and visit the Salinas de Janubio.
