This full‑day tour gives you the chance to explore the town of Selçuk and its lively open‑air market, with transport included from your accommodation in Kuşadası.
East of Selçuk, surrounded by vineyards and orchards, lies the former Greek village of Şirince, around 9 km away in the hills. Following the population exchange after the Greek‑Turkish War in 1924, the original Greek residents left and new inhabitants arrived from the area of Thessaloniki. Today, the village reflects a blend of Greek and Turkish influences, with traditional Greek‑style houses that retain their original exteriors while featuring local layouts inside.
The experience continues in Selçuk, where you'll visit the town's open‑air market. Here you'll have free time to browse the stalls, interact with local vendors, and practise bargaining as you look for local products and everyday goods. You'll also have the opportunity to stop at a gold and leather centre before returning.
