The Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial, a UNESCO-listed memorial near Kraków, is the the most famous symbol of the Holocaust in the world. Hundreds of thousands of Jewish people where murdered in the former concentration camp during WWII, which is known as one of the biggest crimes against humanity ever. Today, you'll visit the memorial and walk around the grounds with a guide for a chance to learn more about this dark side of history. You'll travel to the museum in a minivan accompanied by an English-speaking driver. Then, you'll visit the museum and memorial with a licensed guide, including both former camps – Auschwitz and Birkenau. This part of the tour will be in the language you choose during the booking.

The trip was well organised from start to finish. There was a change to times which we were informed of the day before but this didn’t shorten the trip. Transport was on time and a clean and tidy vehicle. The driver was pleasant and kept us updated on order of events. The tour guide at the venue stayed with us for both tours and was very knowledgable. Highly recommend the trip

Great tour and efficient transport provided! I wish I remembered the name of our guide as she was so knowledgeable and just overall fantastic. We received our entry tickets as soon as we got to the bus stop to get picked up so entry was very quick as we skipped the line, our time did change from 7am to 6am just for people to be aware but this did not bother us. The only thing I wished was that we could have taken the tour a bit of a slower pace to be able to to read everything and take it in.

Our guide was amazing but unfortunately the audio tour was spoilt but a rude guide behind us who was rushing us along, pushing in front and then talking so loud to her group we couldn’t hear her guide. She had to talk loud because he was halfway up Our group so her group was so far away.
