Entrance feesIt’s a long day but so worth it! We were picked up from our hotel with no problems. Our tour guide Reda was very informative and friendly - was very glad we had him! Our drivers George and Ashraf were good drivers and very funny. We felt very safe the whole day and didn’t get hassled as much as we thought! We did this in April (winter in Egypt) and it was around 28 degrees during the trip - wasn’t too hot but at the VOK the tombs were a bit toasty! Although lunch is provided - bring snacks!

Setting off from Hurghada City and surroundings in Makdai Bay, Soma Bay, Sahl Hashish, El Gouna, Safaga and Kalawy Bay in the early morning through the Red Sea Mountains to Luxor, you’ll stop for breakfast before delving into your first sight – the impressive Karnak Temple, a sprawling complex of towering temples. Next, you’ll have a set menu lunch before heading to the Valley of the Kings by motorboat across the Nile. You’ll get to enter three of its 63 royal tombs. Then, take in the ancient Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, and the staggering Colossi of Memnon.
