What to expect

Experience a desert adventure with the morning safari on a quad bike, sand buggy and 4x4 Jeep with a camel ride in Hurghada.

Enjoy a morning filled with activities in the desert. You'll be picked up from your accommodation in Hurghada by a 4x4 Jeep and driven to the quad station, where your program begins. Ride a sand buggy for approximately 20 minutes, followed by a 45-minute quad bike ride across the dunes.

Afterwards, continue with a drive further into the desert to a traditional Bedouin village. There, you'll take a short camel ride and learn about Bedouin culture and daily life from your guide.

At the end of the tour, you'll be transferred back to your hotel with lasting memories of your time in the desert.

We booked this experience with two kids age 9 and 13. They were not allowed on the quad bikes, apparently due to safety reasons. However we saw loads of groups that were allowed to have the kids sat in front of the adults. Ours had to sit in a minibus for 40mins watching us on the quads. When they were allowed on the 4x4 we went extremely slowly for the 20mins ride and that was it. These were the only two activites we were did. The camel ride lasted 5mins. The trip to the village was informative
