What to expect

Discover Montenegro’s coastal beauty, mountain landscapes and royal heritage on this full-day guided group tour from Herceg Novi.

Start with a scenic drive along the Bay of Kotor and visit Perast, one of the most picturesque towns on the Montenegrin coast. Enjoy free time to explore the town, admire the bay views and take photos before continuing inland towards the mountain village of Njeguši.

In Njeguši, located around 900 metres above sea level, enjoy a tasting of traditional local snacks, including cheese and prosciutto or smoked ham, served with one drink. The journey then continues through Lovćen National Park to the Njegoš Mausoleum area, where you’ll have free time to enjoy panoramic views and visit the Mausoleum at an additional cost, where applicable.

Afterwards, continue to Cetinje, Montenegro’s historic royal capital. Enjoy free time to explore the historic centre, visit Cetinje Monastery and King Nikola’s Castle, and experience one of the country’s most important cultural towns.

This tour combines coastal scenery, mountain roads, traditional flavours, royal history and cultural landmarks in one full-day experience from Herceg Novi.

Meet at the main bus station in Herceg Novi. It is essential to arrive at least 10 minutes before departure. Please ensure you allow enough time to reach the meeting point and find the group before the tour starts.

Njegoš Mausoleum entrance fee, where applicable, and tickets for museums or attractions in Cetinje are not included
The Njegoš Mausoleum includes a significant number of stairs if you choose to visit
A snack tasting in Njeguši village with one drink is included. Additional meals and drinks are not included.
The itinerary may be adjusted due to summer operations, traffic, weather conditions, site closures or other unforeseen circumstances
Children under 2 travel free of charge if they do not occupy a separate seat and do not consume food or drinks
