Sailaway Kassandra with Transport

The swim stops were relatively short, less than 30mins each

This was advertised as stopping at a private beaches. There was no access to the beach with towels food etc, we just anchored in the bay on two different occassions. We stopped in one bay for 45 mins which was ok for snorkeling but not a nice beach and looked like dirt instead of sand. The 2nd stop at turtle island was aborted. We sailed for ages with not enough beach stops or being able to get onto a beach. Not what we wanted and overpriced. Captain was very quiet so no sailing lesson either.

The whole experience was fabulous. The yachtsman was friendly and looked after us. The food provided was fresh and delicious. Definately a highlight of the holiday. Would definately recommend to others.

Transfer time from Blue Lagoon Palace to Chourros Port is at best 90 minutes which wouldn’t put us off if we knew upfront rather than be told it’s 60-75minutes. The sail sadly was only able to be used for about 10 minutes which slightly took away from ‘sail away’ and whilst the captain was courteous he could have been a bit more engaging. Other than those niggles the experience was lovely with adequate food and drink, two lovely swim stops and only 8 people on the boat.

A perfect trip. Well worth the money . Definitely recommend if you like boats. Not suitable for people with disabilities. There’s not a lot of room to sit in the main seating area but if conditions allow, you can sit on the bow of the boat. Lunch was a sandwich, some fruit and a drink.. The captain was really friendly and allowed us to have two swim stops- crystal clear water- perfect. The boat has snorkels too to borrow. Overall fantastic experience and would recommend.
