Our guide and driver, Simon (from Italy) was excellent. From the moment we began the trip, he was very chatty, friendly and knowledgeable about all the Canarian islands! We were not impressed by Ajuy. The restaurant prices were charging double the price compared to everywhere else we had been!! A lunch break elsewhere would be better. The caves were amazing though and well worth the effort to walk there.

This was not the trip described in the synopsis. Supposed to be villages a church beaches. I didnt sign up for a goat farm, driving through villages and no church visit. Sold under false pretenses

Just amazing rhe guide was good, knowledge and nothing was a problem for him. We was lucky one 5 of us He gave I good tour and all the questions we had, gripped us to many places q e little us all about it Even took us to see popcorn beach as we dropped someone thst end. All in all it was I good and informative very interesting tour Would recommend

Warm very helpful guide who answered all of our questions, pointed out items of interest and took time to explain about things. Meal was excellent, enough stops and very considerate with the elderly. The guide made this tour enjoyable, fun, interesting and not to tiring. There was six in the group plenty of room in eight seater minivan.

Fernando, one of our insider guides, says ‘Every year, on the third Saturday of September, thousands of islanders dressed in traditional Canarian costume pilgrimage through the gorge to worship Fuerteventura's patron saint.'Discover off the beaten track parts of Fuerteventura as you embark on foot, crisscrossing valleys from the hamlet of Vega de Rio Palmas to the hermitage of Las Peñitas. There'll be plenty of photo stops and the chance to rest in the shade under one of the many date trees which dot the route. Thanks to the surrounding sea of green vegetation and otherworldly rock formations, locals refer to the area as the ‘Oasis of Fuerteventura'. Film fans, though, can spot it in one of the scenes from the Marvel movie, The Eternals.Continue the trail along a gorge towards the coast and we'll reach the wave washed Ajuy.
