Things to do in Danube River
Glorified by Johann Strauss II in one of the most famous waltzes ever written, the blue Danube River runs through the center of Budapest, cutting the city in two parts - Buda and Pest. Not only is it the dividing line, it’s also a vantage point for the best views on magnificent Budapest. If you’re new to the city, there's probably no better way to explore it than by a scenic Danube cruise. Sit back and relax while taking in the city’s rich historic and cultural sights, which include the Gellért Hill with its Liberty Statue and the opulent buildings of the Buda Castle complex.

Reviews Danube River
“The buses were very crowded, the information about stops often interrupted the commentary on the area being visited. The end bus times were not accurate, the information stated the green line ran until 6pm, however the last bus left stop 1 at 5pm.”
“Audio comentry doesn't match your location on the tour. Commentary was poor quality.”
“When we booked this it was not clear that it was a sub contracted excursion rather than one organised by the boat. As the distance from the ship was considerable we didn't bother going on the tour. Cannot comment further on the excursion anymore.”
