Meeting point:
The first audio tour is designed to start at the side Acropolis entrance from the south-east slopes of the hill, Thrasillou, Athens, 105 58. The second audio tour is designed to start at the Acropolis Museum Main Entrance 15 Dionysiou Areopagitou Street. The self-guided audio tour for Athens is designed to start at Syntagma square. The easiest way to get there is on foot or by metro, line 3, Syntagma station.
What to remember

Know in advance:

  • no live guide will accompany you, and no VR/AR is included in this experience
  • Musement vouchers aren't your entry tickets and are NOT ACCEPTED at the entrance; after booking, you'll receive an email from the local supplier, Clio Muse Tours, with further instructions abou your tickets and the audio tour (please check your email spam folder as well)
  • you'll receive a link, in a separate email, with the url to choose the time slot to enter only the Acropolis Hill; please use this link to download your e-tickets and the app for the audio guide
  • To reach the Acropolis, exit the Acropolis metro station (Line 2), head towards Dionysiou Areopagitou Street, and walk along it. The Theatre of Dionysus will be on your right.
  • the audio tours can be used anytime, online or offline (use your headphones to best enjoy them), but keep in mind that internet access might be unavailable and mobile signal may be weak on the Acropolis Hill, so please download the e-tickets and audio tours on your smartphone prior to your visit in order to enjoy it offline (tickets need to be either printed or downloaded on your phone)
  • ensure you have enough storage space (200 MB) on your mobile to download the audio tours; please note they aren'tcompatible with Windows Phones, iPhone 5/5C or older, iPod Touch 5th generation or older, iPad 4th generation or older, iPad Mini 1st generation
  • once in the Acropolis archaeological site, head to the validating machines; likewise, once in the Acropolis Museum proceed directly to the expedited line to get your ticket scanned
  • for the Acropolis Hill: EU citizens aged 0-25 are entitled to have free admission tickets ; from April 1 to October 1, children and young people aged between 6 and 25 years, from non-European Union countries, are entitled for reduced admission; from April 1 to October 1, senior citizens over 65 from Greece or other EU member states and the European Economic Area, are eligible for reduced admission upon presentation of their ID card or passport for verification of their age and country of origin
  • for the Acropolis Museum: EU citizens aged 0-18 are entitled to have free admission tickets; young persons under 18 years of age, from non-EU countries are eligible for reduced admission fee; Greek senior citizens and senior citizens from EU countries, 65 years of age and over, are eligible for reduced admission upon presentation of their ID card or passport for verification of their age and country of origin
