Vienna 24-Hour Hop-On Hop-Off Highlights Bus Tour

It was available as recommended by TUI for our trip I bought tickets in good faith When I asked rep where it picked up from she said outside the ship Having then double checked it seems it does not pick up there and nearest stop is over 1 Mile away so totally unsuitable for me with mobility issues upon checking the route two of the four offered had been suspended for the period of jan to march so no good to those of n the cruise also no refund available

There were no details on where to connect to the bus and the stop we were directed to near the ship was not in service for the time we travelled. We then had to find our way via the tube at our own expense to the central meeting point. Once on the bus the windows were lowered with the outside temp being no more than 1oC. This happened on both the red and yellow lines. Bus was clean and tidy apart from that I can’t give any other positives.

We were directed to a stop to catch the bus where we just missed a service. The next bus was not due for over an hour. We had t get on metro to centre and then walk to a stop. By that time we got on first service available. I suggest you consider changing provider as a rival service ( Big Bus Service) had many more buses and a stop near the docking area. Also educate your staff to send users to a suitable starting place

Good trip around Vienna with plenty of bus line options

Saw all the major sights of Vienna - however, it did take quite a long time so we were unable to get back to all the places we wanted to spend more time at. Difficult to do anything different as Vienna is big and we were only there for a day. We did see many spectacular buildings etc.

What a waste of time - it took 90 minutes just to reach the city centre so we got off and used the Metro instead as there was no way we could have visited anything we wanted and still have time to return to the ship. Tui should have given more info before the cruise about how close the metro station was to the ship.
