Thassos highlights sailing cruise

It was an incredible experience, very relaxing, delicious food, great captain who was very knowledgable as he was from the island, we really loved the whole day.

We usually go on catamaran trips and thought the sail boat would be a lovely experience for our wedding anniversary, however, it was cramped and uncomfortable in comparison with little room to stretch out and sunbathe. The sail wasn’t used despite it being windy enough. The boat, hospitality etc was all conducted by one person, the skipper. We had to ask for drinks as nothing was offered until lunch which was delicious but simple. We think we overpaid for this for the discomfort all day.

Cruise was very nice and the captain did a very good job. Food was disappointing

Was meant to be a sailing ship but the sail could not be put up because there was only one crew member. Lunch has been sat out in boxes all cruise. Only one drink included, for over £100 I'd expect a few more. Need to have some swimming aids. Needed some background music for atmosphere. Although not at full capacity it was very cramped. Again could not sit next to my friend. No safety talk and with only one crew member it didn't feel safe. Not putting the sail up was a major disappointment

We only had a ‘captain’ who had to do everything, sail the boat, serve the drinks and food and weigh anchor. Firstly, everyone was very disappointed that the trip started by telling us we were not going to use the sails!   The biggest concern is that we were not given any safety information and somehow doubt life jackets were on board. If they were we certainly didn’t get told where they were kept. Fortunately there was no emergency but had there been TUI would likely be facing litigation. 

The food and drink were not good value for the overall price we paid.
