Named as one of the World's Best Water Parks, this park has set a new standard for sustainable, high-quality leisure in Tenerife. With its 19 thrilling attractions, exquisite beauty inspired by Thai culture and its verdant greenery, it signifies a true revolution in the realm of leisure parks.

Established by Loro Parque, the park aligns with their ethos of quality and excellence. The Water Kingdom was unveiled in September 2008 by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand. This spectacular water paradise opened its gates to astonish visitors with the most exhilarating attractions ever conceived, immersed in the mystique of the ancient Kingdom of Siam.

The latest significant attraction at the park is Saifa. A water rollercoaster with two contrasting tracks, standing tall at 82 metres and spanning 306 metres, making it the longest and most exciting ride at the park. This remarkable slide is powered by cutting-edge propulsion technology.

Younger guests can discover the hidden corners of Lost City or Sawasdee, a genuine water jungle with four distinct attractions, where they can compete and, above all, have an unforgettable experience! For those seeking a more tranquil experience, the park offers attractions such as the Mai Thai River, or Siam Beach, the most serene artificial beach in the Canary Islands, where you can observe the enormous waves coming from The Wave Palace.

The park was open earlier than advertised so we would have arrived earlier had we known. We had an infant with us and we didn’t find the splash pad until the end of our visit, so it being on the map would have helped. Minor issues because our party of 9 all had a great time.

We were unaware of what the weight restrictions were as it did not say on the website, we were unable to go on most of the rides due to this. Very disappointing and an expensive day for what we could do

A great day out, the park itself has so much to offer and is kept immaculate throughout, only downside for us the lazy river was closed for refurbishment but still had an amazing day, a must visit

Guided visit to Corpus Christi Festival in La Orotava

For this occasion, every year the intricate sand paintings are carefully ‘drawn' by the artists who spread the sand using their hands. The centrepiece is a huge sand carpet with a religious theme, laid out in painstaking detail according to ancient tradition, using a variety of coloured lava sand from the craters of the Cañadas. Smaller sand and flower carpets can be found in the surrounding streets.As you stroll through La Orotava to admire these impressive creations, your guide will share insights into the history and significance of Corpus Christi.
