What to expect

The great outdoors don't come any greater than Krka National Park, one of Croatia's wildest natural treasures. You'll get a chance to breathe in the freshest of airs and explore the waterfall-splashed landscape of Skradinski Buk. There's also a visit to Stella Croatica, famous for its handmade goods.

Krka National Park is a place of thundering waterfalls, lakes and riverside walks. But before arriving, you'll visit Stella Croatica - where you'll be able to taste some local handmade delicacies. Once at the park, you'll have the day to stroll along the wooden waterside walkways, and you'll also have the opportunity to learn about local traditions and visit a historic water mill.

But the park's crowning glory is Skradinski Buk – a huge natural pool with 17 cascading waterfalls bursting through the trees. You'll also be able to spot nightingales, herons, falcons, owls and more with a bit of luck. Here, you'll have time for some lunch.
