This day trip takes you into the rugged countryside of Dalmatia, where mountains and valleys meet river canyons and plateaus. After a drive in a private transfer along scenic routes, you'll arrive in Etnoland, a living outdoor museum that shows you what rural life was like in the late 19th-century. Your expert guide will share the history, crafts and traditions of the area. Plus, you'll visit a blacksmith's workshop and some old homes, seeing how they were furnished for a look into how people lived and worked. At the heart of the area's heritage is food, so for lunch you'll tuck into homemade Dalmatian peka – slow-cooked with tender meat, fresh vegetables, and traditional local flavours.
