Die Kirche der Erzengel und das Kloster Evagelistria ziehen seit Jahrhunderten Gläubige an - und es ist leicht zu verstehen, warum.Ihr Nachmittag beginnt mit einer Führung durch die Kirche der Erzengel, die für ihr heilendes Quellwasser berühmt ist, bevor es weitergeht zum Kloster Evangelistria. Das Kloster ist ein Hort kultureller und historischer Artefakte und war ein wichtiger Schauplatz im griechischen Unabhängigkeitskampf - hier wurde die griechische Flagge zum ersten Mal gehisst.Das Kloster aus dem 18. Jahrhundert liegt an einem Berghang und ist von einem üppigen Pinienwald umgeben. Die Aussicht von hier aus ist spektakulär. Die Kapelle ist mit farbenfrohen Ikonen geschmückt und es gibt auch ein Museum mit seltenen Büchern und Manuskripten. Nach einem geführten Rundgang genießen Sie eine Verkostung lokaler Weine.
