Things to do in Oia

This eye-catching town is textbook Cyclades. Whitewashed buildings with electric-blue domes carved into the jagged cliffs overlook a volcanic gorge and the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean. Compared to its neighbouring island towns, Oia boasts a romantic and laidback atmosphere. Feel the sea breeze on your skin and immerse yourself in the peaceful ways of life of the Cyclades Islands, as you meander through the town's narrow streets.

Beaches are on tap in Oia. With some of the most striking and authentic coastlines in all of the Aegean, Oia is a beach-goers sanctuary. Black-sandy beaches and rusty-coloured cliffs surrounded by pristine waters are just a stone's throw away, waiting for you to be uncovered. From Baxedes and Armeni Beach to the secluded Ammoudi Bay, shores come in all shapes and colours.

“We both really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was Kim and she was excellent. Extremely informative and helpful, she also gave us a tip on a great place to see the sunset. We took her advice and had some fantastic food and drink with lovely staff and fantastic view of the sunset.”

“Coach pick up on time and a short journey to the port to get on the boat. The boat crew were so lovely and very imformative about the sailing route and the areas we were sailing through. The boat stops for a swim in the hot springs well worth a jump of the boat ?? The 3 course meal at the restaurant (managed to gwt a seafront table) was very nice and came with wine too. And what a better way to see the Sunset than on the water - it was stunning ! Well worth the money .”
