We would have liked more information about outward journey - assumed pick-up by coach so surprised (but very happy) to be taken to the port by cab. We were dropped at unoccupied port passport control building and left waiting for an hour - unfortunately in the open in pouring rain - for it to open with no idea how to obtain our ferry tickets. However, once boarded we had a great experience and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable - very genial too and he communicated well.

Although everything was in English language there was no local explanation of the way the ticketing worked on the outward and return ferry. The use of the boarding cards in particular. Ephesus its self was a bit disappointing they have a lot of work to do to make sense of all of the ruins.I have seen better examples in Italy and other countries. Considering the Turks charge €45 entrance fee I wonder how much is spent on the restoration. The guide provided too much information about himself

Guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Walk through Ephesus seemed a bit rushed. Temple of Artemis was disappointing, nothing really to see.

Ephesus was spectacular. We would have liked more time there and less time in Kusadasi. Our guide was excellent. The stop at the factory shoo was just annoying! Overall we had a great trip

Great trip but Epheseus was unbelievably hot. Boat trip was ok but boat was crammed full meaning no shade at all for those who were at the back. Going out we got seats in the shade, co.ing back i sat on top, no shade and my companions sat below, very hot and stuffy. Long day, 5.35am pick up and 8am ferry. Got back to hotel at 8.20pm. Not a day for older guests we were exhausted and our older companion was extremely exhausted.

Vrije tijd in Kusadasi prima, lang genoeg.

Samiopoula Trip

Holidays are about getting away from it all. And this morning cruise does just that. Cooling off in the waters of Samos's south coast, you'll also visit the remote island of Samiopoula – an isolated island with no inhabitants.Sailing out of Pythagorios' pretty port, you'll know you're on holiday when you feel the sun on your face and a warm sea breeze wash over you. Gliding through the Ireon village, you'll pass secluded beaches and rocky coves. Whilst being served fresh fruit and refreshments by the crew, you may even be lucky enough to spot a dolphin or two. Then, you'll relax and top up your tan until it's time to swim ashore at Samipoula. Spend time here exploring the island's unspoiled landscape, its lone church, or enjoying a dip in the Aegean. The water here is calm and clear, so expect to see plenty of fish. And cruising back to shore at a leisurely pace, you'll have time to catch a few more rays on deck.
