This tour meets at Touristation Cappella Sistina. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour, your guide will be holding a green Walks sign.

  • Not suitable for wheelchairs, strollers and people with reduced mobility

Know in advance:

  • The full names of all participants must be provided at the time of booking and must match the names on the ID/Passport. Name changes are not permitted
  • Please note that particular galleries of the Vatican museums may be closed without prior notice and pieces may be removed for restoration. In such case, your guide will take you to another section of the museum
  • The special access passage between the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica is closed on Wednesday mornings. It is subject to other closures during special celebrations/festivities, including the Easter ceremonies. On such days, you will explore more of the Vatican Museums' galleries
  • Sometimes guides may not be allowed to lead tours inside St Peter's Basilica; in such cases, they will provide a brief explanation from outside, and you will be able to explore the Basilica on your own
  • Men and women must cover their knees and shoulders to enter religious sites. The local operator cannot be held responsible for those denied entry
  • Groups are limited to a maximum of 18 people
  • This tour operator is an accredited tour operator with an official ticketing agreement with the Vatican Museums
