Quad Bike Adventure in Agafay Desert with Tea Tasting From Marrakech

Upon arrival, we waited 45 minutes before any of us even got helmets handed to. The helmets themselves were loose. Within our group, one person’s brakes fell off their quad bike and my quad bike had to be jump started multiple times. We also had to wait an hour at the end for a family to ride camels before we could return home. On the way home our driver pulled over randomly and told us to change coaches. Got back gone 3pm, as opposed to 1pm as advertised

We had no tutorial before riding and it seemed to be race the whole time with only 1 stop for photos. The experience stated that there was tea tasting but when we got back to the start, they just took our helmets, pointed to the minibus and walked off-most disappointing

The activity guide was absolutely brilliant. He kept the whole group safe while also giving my son plenty of encouragement to try out various tricks. The guide is also an excellent photographer and got great shots of us on the bikes. The route was varied and interesting.

Overall this was a positive and enjoyable excursion, however there’s plenty that could be better. The hotel pick up and drop off is great, which combined with two hours quad hiking equals decent value. However, there was next to no positive service and it felt like we were a hindrance to the staff and they couldn’t wait to be done. The safety & technical briefing lasted about 30 seconds. There was no tea tasting at any point. It was good overall but no doubt there’s better tours available.

This was a brilliant trip. Safe , challenging at times for beginner. Views amazing. Varied route. About 25 miles full two hours. Loved it.

The ride itself was a lot of fun, until one by one about 4 bikes stopped and the guys found out the fuel finished. One of the guys drove back to get some but he ended up walking as also that bike got empty. We were probably about 1-2h late, and the taxi driver nearly left me and my husband behind.
