Gozo and Comino cruise

The rep in the hotel (not our normal rep) was not very cheerful or helpful. Used the TUI app to get to the location. Boarding and staff were fine there. Goso was lovely then went to Comino. Too over crowded. Lots of takeaway vans. Then the catamaran back was awful. 80% of people being sick. The waves were so high. Unable to go back to our port for safety but the did offer us a free bus back but as felt so sick couldn’t leave straight away so we got a private taxi. £39 each plus £20 taxi not fun

The boat trip to Gozo was a lovely opportunity to see Malta from the sea. The boat was well equipped with seats in the sun or shade, also had a bar and toilets. Friendly, helpful crew. We only saw the town of Victoria on Gozo, so we just had time to get some lunch, then had to head back for the boat to Comino. Comino was very busy, with very uneven ground, steps and rocks to negotiate - however it is stunningly beautiful, so worth a visit if you are able.

The joining instructions I was sent with my voucher were incorrect. Rather than being given a tour of Gozo, we were simply driven to the capital and left there for two hours before the coach returned to the ferry. I paid an extra €15 to go and see the caves, but this was a very cursory trip, and only lasted about 20 minutes. Rather than swimming off the back of the boat in the blue lagoon, we had to disembark on Camino and we left there for two hours while the ferry went off on another trip.

Ideally I would have more time in Gozo to see more of the citadel. Overall really enjoyed the day.

I beskrivningen om denna utflykt stod det att en rundtur på Gozo ingick. Men bussen körde oss bara till Victoria o släppte av oss att gå runt själva i två timmar. Comino var totalt kaos. Man fick knappt plats att sitta o svårt att komma ner i vattnet. Hit ska man ta en båt med rutschkana på sidan så att man kan bada direkt från båten så man slipper trängas med en massa turister

Activiteit niet zoals omschreven. Rondrit van 2u op de bus in Gozo kregen se niet. Na 10 minuten op de bus werden we gedropt en de bus kwam ons 1u30 later terug ophalen. De blue lagoon was mooi maar we hadden er meer van verwacht´. Veel te veel volk. Terugvaart was ook niet terug naar ons startpunt (door het ´weer ´, veel wind op zee´) in Buggiba Jetty maar naar het eerste ophaalpunt in Sliema waardoor we dan nog een dik half uur op de bus moesten. Dit werd ook niet gecommuniceerd vooraf.
