The Picasso Museum located in Picasso's birth town of Málaga, Spain opened in 2003 with 285 original works donated by Picasso's own family. In addition to these works, this museum houses an archive and library with more than 800 books, documents and photos relating to Picasso. Found in the beautiful Buenavista Palace on Calle San Agustín - the same street where Picasso attended nursery school - from the windows of the newly renovated staircase, you can see the Church of Santiago where Picasso was baptized. “The queuing system is ridiculous!! Need a better system waited a long time for our time slot & then people were asking if they could get in before us when we were on the door because they were unable to make the time they booked. People were getting really frustrated & annoyed with the lengthy wai.”
