The Picasso Museum located in Picasso's birth town of Málaga, Spain opened in 2003 with 285 original works donated by Picasso's own family. In addition to these works, this museum houses an archive and library with more than 800 books, documents and photos relating to Picasso. Found in the beautiful Buenavista Palace on Calle San Agustín - the same street where Picasso attended nursery school - from the windows of the newly renovated staircase, you can see the Church of Santiago where Picasso was baptized.
