London's Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament day tour

Accessibility:

• The Houses of Parliament is accessible to wheelchair users
• Some areas of the Abbey are inaccessible to wheelchair users and visitors with reduced mobility
• Assistance dogs are welcome in Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament
• The Abbey and the public galleries of the House of Commons and House of Lords Chambers are equipped with a hearing loop system

Not allowed:

• Large items, such as suitcases or large backpacks, as well as any bags with wheels are not allowed inside Westminster Abbey. There are no storage facilities
• Personal photography is permitted in the Westminster Abbey church and the Houses of Parliament (some areas are forbidden in both buildings) but please do not use flash photography, tripods or take pictures during services

Know in advance:

• Guests under the age of 18 may not be admitted unless accompanied by an adult
• Infants get free admission but require a ticket, please select your free ticket at checkout
• There is the option of booking a small group tour, you can choose this ticket option during checkout
• The small group tour has a max of 15 people per guide whereas the shared tour has no maximum capacity
• Please dress appropriately, wear comfortable shoes, and remove hats whilst visiting the Abbey as it is a place of worship
• Security checks, including bag searches, are carried out before entering Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament
