What to expect

See some of the most important places related to the history of WWII in Krakow. Book the entrance ticket and guided tour to the Oskar Schindler Factory Museum and visit the Plaszow concentration camp with a guide.

Meet your guide at the museum's café and start the visit to the factory. See where the man who inspired the movie "Schindler's List" lived and worked. The museum displays the furniture from the actual office of Oscar Schindler, as well as an exhibition about life in Krakow under Nazi occupation. Learn the story of a German entrepreneur who led many Jews through the war, as well as the sort of many other citizens of the city who were forced to cope with difficult wartime.

After the lunch break not included in the price, you will take the tram ride to reach the next location on the itinerary: the Plaszow concentration camp. Planned as a forced labor camp, it changed its purpose after the liquidations of ghettos in southern Poland. Now the territory of the camp is a big Memorial to the people who lost their lives in the Holocaust. Your guide will show you what remains of the camp facilities, the execution place and the villa of Amon Goth, the camp's commandant.
