• A visit to three tombs is included in the Valley of the Kings entrance ticket, except for Ramses VI and Tutankhamun's tombs, which require an additional fee announced on site. Payment is accepted only by credit card

Know in advance:

• This tour is operational only on 2 Aug 2027
• The local operator will make every effort to provide lunch at a local restaurant as planned. However, due to the exceptionally high demand expected in Luxor, restaurant capacity may be limited. If circumstances beyond the local operator's control prevent them from providing lunch at a restaurant, they may provide a lunch box instead at the scheduled lunch time. Your guide will advise you of any necessary changes on the day
• If your accommodation is on a full-board or all-inclusive basis, it is recommended arranging a takeaway breakfast to enjoy on the way, an additional lunch box if needed, and a late dinner with your hotel reception before the tour date, subject to your accommodation conditions
• As a precaution, and due to the expected high volume of guests, the exact viewing location may be adjusted between Luxor Temple and the West Bank of Luxor, depending on local access arrangements and operational conditions on the day. Your local guide will confirm the final viewing location. Motorboat will be subject to availability.
• Infants under two can join for free, sitting on a parent's lap if seats are full
• Shared tour is available for up to 15 adults, up to 15 children, and up to 15 infants
• Due to the exceptional nature of this event, high visitor numbers are expected in Luxor, and timing may be adjusted according to operational conditions
• Special solar eclipse glasses are required for safe viewing and are already included in the price. They will be distributed in Luxor
• Guests using cameras, telescopes, or binoculars should ensure they have suitable solar filters to avoid damage
• Please inform the local tour provider directly if you have any special dietary requirements
• The insurance covers accidents that may occur to guests while participating in the tour

• A hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and water
• A camera or mobile phone with sufficient battery capacity to capture this unique event
• Cash for personal expenses
• A photocopy of your passport or valid identification is recommended during the excursion
• Wear light, comfortable clothing and suitable walking shoes
• Small umbrellas, portable fans or cooling towels may add extra comfort during the eclipse waiting period
