The island's first capital is now a sleepy, whitewashed village that's home to St Mary's Church – the oldest in the Canaries – whose simple façade hides a richly decorated interior.When you've worked up an appetite, there's a tasty lunch of local specialities to look forward to in Valle de Santa Ines.
