Heading off-road through the Bayuyo volcanic area, you'll pass lava fields and crater scenery shaped by the island's fiery past, with a photo stop along the way and the chance to spot the friendly local chipmunks. From there, the route winds towards Majanicho, where whitewashed houses sit quietly beside the sea.
