What to expect

Experience one of Madeira’s most unforgettable sunsets with this fantastic-value shared transfer to Pico do Arieiro, a truly awe-inspiring mountain viewpoint on the island. This option provides you with a comfortable and cost-effective way to soak up the spectacular scenery during the golden hour and watch the sun descend above the clouds in an iconic location. Pick-up is included from specific meeting points only. If trail access is open and conditions permit, you might also opt to undertake the renowned Stairway to Heaven walk independently. The optional walk spans approximately 2.4 km in total.

Typically, the destination is Pico do Arieiro, but if weather or visibility conditions are less than ideal, a different viewpoint may be selected to ensure the best possible sunset experience. Departure for the return journey is scheduled roughly half an hour after sunset.
