No Greek holiday is complete without a sea cruise to the islands, and this one takes in some of the country’s best. As you cruise out of Corfu Harbour have your camera handy to capture the view of the old town and its two Venetian fortresses. You’ll head south, passing the Kanoni Peninsula and the Palace of Mon Repos, the village of Kavos, and Corfu’s southernmost point, the Cape of Asprokavos.
Then, as you sail away from Corfu, Paxos Island comes into view. Unspoiled by mass tourism, Paxos boasts the quintessential character of Greece, with green olive groves and fishing villages aplenty. You’ll head along the west coast of Paxos Island, soaking up the impressive rocky coastline and white sandy beaches until you arrive at the Blue Caves. They’re cut into limestone cliffs, making the water reflect a striking blue off the white, chalky rocks.
Beyond the caves, you’ll reach the pocket-sized island of Antipaxos. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in style, as the powder-white beaches here are often compared to those of the Caribbean. You can take a swim here in the crystal waters of 'Paradise Beach' – and it really does live up to its name. Then, it’s back to Paxos, where you can wander through its narrow streets, visit the souvenir shops and enjoy lunch at one of its traditional tavernas.
You have two options for this tour, option one is without a transfer and option two includes a transfer to and from the port.
