What to expect

For an adventure into the Balkan mountains surrounding Sunny Beach, look no further than this extreme off-road tour in the countryside. You'll journey to the village of Poroy to enjoy panoramic views over the landscape, try some local dishes and take in a host of interesting places along the way.

After a quick safety talk and information on the route ahead, you'll set off in a 4x4. We'll drive along off-road tracks passing through rivers, villages and panoramic viewpoints over Sunny Beach and Nessebar before a pause in the action for a refreshing drink and a few fun games to take part in, as well as a short ride in a horse-drawn carriage.

Following a route along picturesque mountain roads, we'll pitstop in Medovo for a pottery demonstration, before rumbling all the way to the village of Poroy. Here you'll stop for a well-earned lunch of traditional Bulgarian dishes and roasted bacon on a spit before rounding off with a honey tasting session.

Easy hotel pickup 15 minute drive to meet up with the seven other jeeps and then a great drive thru the mountains. Nice stopoff to play a few games and comfort break in a nice hotel before great fun with on board water pistols before rounding the day off with a lovely lunch overall a great fun day. You will get dusty and dirty but the water pistols will wash it off

The guides were very cheerful and friendly whilst maintaining professionalism and maintaining safety standards throughout the journey. One thing that could have been better was notification as we were leaving the stop points. 5 minutes notification of it being time to leave would have been good, or being told the time limit which we had at the stops.

Positief: veel off-road met een paar pittige stukken. Prachtig zicht boven op de berg en het bezoek aan de pottenbakkerij was een echte meevaller. Paardrit en de spelletjesactiviteiten meer iets voor kinderen (ingecalculeerd) dus voor ons meer een welgekomen drank en plaspauze. Benaming van ophaalpunt "BUS STATION BUS STOP MAIN ROAD SEA SIDE" kan beter! Het enige bus STATION van Sunny Beach is een straat verder dan de bus STOP, dus dit is verwarrend. Wij stonden dan ook eerst verkeerd.
