Charming villages, cultural traditions and beautiful Balkan scenery are what this tour is all about. In a powerful 4x4, you'll zoom along roads, tracks and trails of the countryside to discover real, rural and authentic Bulgaria. There's a typical lunch included, and a tasting of distinctive local Manov honey.The action begins in the scenic surrounds of Strandja Nature Park – Bulgaria's largest protected area. Here, we'll hike for around 45 minutes through the pristine forest, home to a rich variety of rare plants, birds and wildlife. Next, we'll head up to the Foundryka Cave, famous for its underground lake.After a typical lunch in Mladezhko village, we'll make our way to the open-air ethnographic museum for a tasting of locally made honey. Imagine the excitement as kids turn into treasure hunters in an ancient oak forest, guided by GPS, while adults test their aim with bow and air rifle. The journey takes a scenic turn at 'Tabite,' offering a panoramic view that screams photo op. Come lunchtime, we'll swing by the timeless village of Kozichino for a cultural feast at an ethnographic complex.Here, in a vibrant courtyard, get a slice of village life, explore a museum packed with local treasures, and snap photos in traditional attire. Driving your own classic East German vehicle, you'll hear the history of the area as you drop in at a brandy distillery, a local home and stop for lunch at a lakeside lodge.After a quick briefing and a test-drive, you'll hop in your classic car and be ready to ride. Driving by beautiful Balkan scenery, you'll roll through the rustic villages of Tankovo, Aheloy and Kableshkovo, learning about th region's history as you go. Stop for a snifter of brandy at a distillery and find out how the famous 'rakia' is made before tasting some local honey and seeing a snapshot of local life and traditions in a typical home.Rumbling on along scenic roads, tracks and paths you'll arrive at Forest Lodge for a typical lunch in a rural setting. Sozopol Guided Tour by Fast Ferry

Bulgaria's Black Sea coast is a treasure trove of ancient towns, historic cities and natural scenery. With so many places to see, this trip to Sozopol by fast ferry is just the ticket. Departing from Nessebar, the ferry whisks you to explore ancient Sozopol. It's an early start as we head by bus to the harbour at Nessebar to board the ferry. After an hour's cruise on the high-speed passenger catamaran Seacat One you'll be docking in Sozopol. On the ferry there is a bar serving coffee, tea, soft drinks and beer, at your own expense.Arriving in Sozopol, you'll have time for a guided tour and a tasting of regional Bulgarian wines, before heading for an optional lunch at a local restaurant. After, make the most of the free time to explore at your own pace. Return from Sozopol to Nessebar by fast ferry in the late afternoon.
