The Floriade Expo 2022 is an international horticultural exhibition that showcases solutions, innovations and technology for greener, healthier and sustainable cities for the future.

This event takes place in the Netherlands once a decade and with Almere as this year’s host, visitors will have 6 months to visit this impressive park. The four sub-themes that will flow through the Floriade 2022 are: Greening the city, Feeding the city, Healthying the City and Energizing the City. Across sixty hectares (148 acres) of land, Dutch horticulture will take center stage with over 400 pavilions showcasing future products, technologies and inspiring innovations aimed to make our cities more green and sustainable.

Set your senses soaring as you walk among gardens of flowers, plants, fruit and vegetables. Visit the huge greenhouse complex, the arboretum, the floating art pavilion in the heart of the park, not to mention the Bobbing Forest. Have you ever seen trees floating on water? With over 40 country presentations too, you’ll be able to immerse yourselves in the culture, plants and ideas from India, Germany, Indonesia and more!

The park will come alive thanks to exhibitions, tasting sessions, conferences, live music and all sorts of entertainment. There will also be plenty of opportunities to grab a bite to eat or drink thanks to a range of restaurants and food trucks throughout the park. Try some of the local products and healthy snacks.
