What to expect

Welcomed aboard by the crew, you'll cast off with ancient Nessebar in the distance. With fishing equipment available to use, as well as areas to sunbathe or unwind, you'll be spoilt for choice on things to do as you glide along the coast. And with the bar open throughout the cruise, you won't be going thirsty either.

Then, as the sun starts to heat up, your captain will drop anchor so you can cool off courtesy of a dip in the sea. Meanwhile, back on board, a delicious buffet is prepared. After lunch, there's more tanning time to enjoy on the way back to port.

In a powerful 4x4, you'll zoom along roads, tracks and trails of the countryside to discover real, rural and authentic Bulgaria. Driving your own classic East German vehicle, you'll hear the history of the area as you drop in at a brandy distillery, a local home and stop for lunch at a lakeside lodge.After a quick briefing and a test-drive, you'll hop in your classic car and be ready to ride. Driving by beautiful Balkan scenery, you'll roll through the rustic villages of Tankovo, Aheloy and Kableshkovo, learning about th region's history as you go. Stop for a snifter of brandy at a distillery and find out how the famous 'rakia' is made before tasting some local honey and seeing a snapshot of local life and traditions in a typical home.Rumbling on along scenic roads, tracks and paths you'll arrive at Forest Lodge for a typical lunch in a rural setting. Sozopol Guided Tour by Fast Ferry

Bulgaria's Black Sea coast is a treasure trove of ancient towns, historic cities and natural scenery. With so many places to see, this trip to Sozopol by fast ferry is just the ticket. Departing from Nessebar, the ferry whisks you to explore ancient Sozopol. It's an early start as we head by bus to the harbour at Nessebar to board the ferry. After an hour's cruise on the high-speed passenger catamaran Seacat One you'll be docking in Sozopol. On the ferry there is a bar serving coffee, tea, soft drinks and beer, at your own expense.Arriving in Sozopol, you'll have time for a guided tour and a tasting of regional Bulgarian wines, before heading for an optional lunch at a local restaurant. After, make the most of the free time to explore at your own pace. Return from Sozopol to Nessebar by fast ferry in the late afternoon.
